In 1974, we began as Lompoc Valley Vettes with all members living in Lompoc. As our club grew, we gained many members from Santa Maria and began alternating our meetings between Lompoc and Santa Maria ...and then members joined from as far north as Atascadero and as far south as Santa Ynez, prompting the name change to Central Coast Corvettes. Our meetings are now held exclusively in Santa Maria.
Our logo is comprised of the Corvette flag logo with sprays of flowers. We are often asked about the significance of the flowers. As our roots are in Lompoc, the flowers represent the flower fields in Lompoc which were prevalent in 1974 when we began.
We have a monthly meeting and enjoy activities throughout the month - picnics, barbecues, wine tasting, mystery runs, runs to Las Vegas and the Gold Country... It's always lots of fun with friends and fellow Corvette enthusiasts!
We currently have 75 members and are still growing. The 'Vette Scoop' is our monthly newsletter; it keeps our members informed of current and upcoming events.
Visitors are always welcome to come to our meetings and events!
